The 86th Thessaloniki International Fair which took place from 10 to 18 September 2022, was highlighted as one of the biggest events of the recent years, with the United Arab Emirates as the Honored Country.
EKOME, an entity supervised by the Ministry of Digital Governance, participated once more in TIF (Pavilion 12), presenting the successful results of the Greek program for attracting audiovisual productions, the investment incentives Cash Rebate and Tax Relief, the National Network of Film Offices, the educational programs, the project for the preservation and digitization of the Greek audiovisual archives and the positive impact on the audiovisual production in Greece from all the of actions it has been implementing since its first year of operation.
For this reason and in the context of the parallel events of the Fair, EKOME and Enterprise Greece co-organized a panel discussion on: “The development of the audiovisual industry in Greece: investing in infrastructure, film and tv production and international outreach”, on September 12, at 12.00 p.m., at the “Nikolaos Germanos” Congress Centre (Hall A, Pavilion 8 – TIF).
In the discussion moderated by the President and CEO of EKOME, Panos Kouanis, the main representatives of the domestic audiovisual sector participated, with the participation of politicians, entrepreneurs, and many professionals. Read more here.
During the Fair, EKOME executives were at Pavilion 12 and informed the public about the strategic actions of EKOME aimed at highlighting the domestic audiovisual ecosystem, while making contacts with representatives of institutions, professionals, representatives of the academic community as well as the local government.
