EKOME recognizes the added value and the multiple benefits of the systematic research and development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in digital games and supports the 4th Summer School on “Artificial Intelligence and Games” that takes place in Chania from August 29 to September 2.
The organizers’ effort is complemented by several renowned international academics and researchers in the industry, but also by important companies of the global digital games industry (Microsoft, Ubisoft, Sony) and Artificial Intelligence (Google, AWS, Meta AI, modl.ai). At the same time, the five-day intensive program of presentations, workshops and game jams of this year’s summer school, places Greece and specifically Crete at the center of the discussion on AI models that affect the production of content and the implementation of digital games, addressed to professionals, students, researchers, and academics from all over the world.
The operation of the financial incentives Cash Rebate 40% and Tax Relief 30%, the presence of national delegations abroad, the assistance in the effort of domestic professionals for international promotion and the initiatives and collaborations for vocational training programs, are at the heart of the actions of EKOME to put Greece on the map as an ideal destination for the research and development-production of digital games.
